![]() Combo
Beginning Combo Classes are for 3 to 5 year olds and usually consists of 25 minutes of tap, 25 minutes of ballet and 10 minutes of tumbling. Must be potty trained.
Combo II Classes are for 4 to 5 year olds who have completed beginning combo and for 5 to 6 year olds who are new to dance. The class usually consists of 25 minutes of tap, 25 minutes of ballet or jazz and 10 minutes of tumbling.
Jazz
Classes are structured: Grades Beginning, I, II, III, IV, Intermediate, and Advanced for Jazz. Mini Jazz classes are offered for our dancers 5 to 7 years old. There are also classes in Jazz Turns/Technique offered for the serious Jazz Dancer; Turns/Technique teaches across the floor work for mastering turns and jazz technique. Jazz is usually taught as part of the older Combo classes.
Turns & Technique
Essential for jazz dancers, teaches across the floor work for mastering turns and jazz technique.
Lyrical
Classes are expressive ballet with a jazz influence. Ballet is recommended to take this class.
Tap
Classes are structured: Grades Beginning, I, II, III, IV, V, VI, Intermediate, and Advanced for Tap technique. Tap is also taught as part of the Combo classes. The level of the "Combo" class corresponds with the level of Tap.
Stretch
Prepares dancers through proper exercise and stretching.
Hip Hop
Classes are free form style jazz to top 40 music. Advanced Teen Hip Hop students must be at least 12 with hip hop experience. Performing Class. Must have teacher permission.
Tumbling
Tumbling 1 Classes are for 5 to 7 year olds with little or no tumbling experience. Tumbling 2 Classes are for 8 to 11 year olds with little or no tumbling experience. Learn basic tumbling tricks. Tumbling 3 Classes are for anyone who can hold a bridge and perform a one hand cartwheel. Tumbling IV/Intermediate Classes are for anyone who can perform a front limber, backbend kickover & a roundoff. Tumbling V/Advanced Classes are for anyone who can perform a roundoff back handspring consistently with no spot.
Ballet
Classes are structured: Pre-Ballet, Beginning, Grades I, II, III, IV, Intermediate, and Advanced for ballet technique. There are also classes in beginning, intermediate, and advanced pointe and adult classes. Pre-Ballet is usually taught as part of the younger Combo classes. Students should not start Beginning Ballet until they are six years old.
